Fire and Burglar Detection
Burglar Alarm and Fire Alarm Systems form an essential part of any home or business security system, providing detection of intruders, fire or smoke detection, water or hazardous gas detection, detection of power outages, panic events and medical intervention.
Burglar alarm systems may use wired or sometimes supervised wireless technology to connect field devices or detectors to the main alarm control panel.
Field devices may include: keypads, motion detectors, perimeter beam detectors, glass break detectors, door sensors, smoke detectors, heat detectors, freeze detectors, water detectors, power detection, gas leak detection, and more.
Intrusion systems are often integrated with Camera Systems to help record the incident and capture images of the intruder. More advanced home automation systems can receive inputs from the Burglar Alarm System and respond accordingly. This response may include recording camera images at higher resolution, lighting control, music control, messaging, emailing, notifications, and much more.
Integration of tracking prompts can work in reverse. In other words, the monitoring system can detect and then trigger the Alarm System to send notification to the control center.
